Turkey Chili with Corn

Ingredients
  

  • 6 sprays olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 28 oz canned crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz canned red or pink kidney beans
  • 15 oz canned white kidney beans
  • 6 oz canned tomato paste
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Turner your burner on to medium heat. Spray your skillet with cooking spray, add onion and sauté for two minutes.
  • Add ground turkey and cook, starting to break up into small bits with your spatula. Add in minced garlic and mix well.
  • Add crushed tomatoes, red kidney beans, white kidney beans and tomato paste. Mix well.
  • Add the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  • Add in the corn and mix well.
  • Simmer on low for 30 minutes.
  • Enjoy with you favorite fixings, such as shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and chopped red onion.
