Spring will officially be here next week and I am so ready for winter to be over. We’ve had a milder winter this year in North Jersey, but I’m looking forward to the change in season. I’ve been searching online and in the stores for new décor items to style my home and figured I’d share a few of the favorites I’ve come across.
A lot of the décor items this year are blues and neutrals with just a touch of greenery to tie everything in.
Pillows can easily brighten up any room and can be an inexpensive way to freshen up your home décor. These pillows I found at Kirkland’s would be just perfect. The striped blue pillow and the bless this nest pillow would look great on a entryway bench. The square blue pillow would look beautiful in an arm chair.
I love a nicely styled tiered tray and these items just scream springtime! The tray is so versatile for every holiday and season. For spring, add the birds, beaded garland and moss balls along with a few other knickknacks and it’ll look like a dream.
Buying fresh flowers all the time for your spring table can become expensive. I’ve found these beautiful, real feel white tulips that would freshen up your tablescape. White florals just give a crisp, fresh look that you could carry through to the summer. You could also style these tulips or other florals with the bubble vase or galvanized pitcher on your console table or buffet server.
I love this crescent woven basket from Kirklands. Drape this chevron woven blanket through the opening, add a decorative pillow and voila! You’ve got a simple display that you can easily change out the items for the holidays and seasons.
You can never go wrong with a good lantern. I love this lantern from Kirklands. You could use it as a centerpiece on your table or once the weather gets warmer, use it outside for porch or deck décor. The fact that it comes with a candle already, makes it even better.
I have really been feeling these plain green wreaths lately. These wreaths can be used all year round. For St. Patrick’s Day, spring, add a few florals for summer and even can be used during the holidays with a string of white lights. Display one on your hutch like I did or use it for your front door. You can’t go wrong with a plain boxwood wreath.
Hope my must-have finds will add a touch of spring to your home!
