Christmas is right around the corner and even though things may be a little bit different this year, it doesn’t mean you can’t make a few delicious and easy appetizers on Christmas Eve and Day! A few of these appetizers are my go-to’s for any get-together I have, whether it’s hosting a party with friends or simply having family over for a Sunday night dinner.

During the holidays you want something that’s quick, easy or make-ahead, am I right? I know I love appetizers that are like that. Actually, anything that’s quick and easy. Another theme I always search for is something seasonal or festive. You can ask any of my family or friends, I try and make everything I do either homemade or go all out with decorations. It just makes things that extra special. And these appetizers are just that!

Raspberry & Brie Bites

As you know, these raspberry and brie bites are my go-to. I think I serve them every time I host a party. They’re just so easy! And delicious, I might add. I love the taste of the raspberry jam paired with the creaminess of brie cheese and you get just the right amount of crunch with the phyllo shells. You can’t beat it!

Serve them on a festive tiered tray for that extra “oomph”!

Caprese Bites

My second go-to appetizer is caprese salad or in this case, bites. These are perfect for easy grab and go as I like to call it. All you do is skewer a cherry tomato, basil leaf and mozzarella ball onto a toothpick. That’s it. Once you have them laid out on your platter, drizzle a little bit of balsamic glaze and you’ve got yourself an appetizer!

Holiday tip: Lay the bites in the form of your favorite holiday shape!

Christmas Cheese Board

Who doesn’t love a cheese and crackers platter to snack on at a party? I do! Here’s a fun twist on your classic cheese and crackers board – display it in the shape of a Christmas tree. Separate each “branch” with a rosemary sprig and alternate with cheese and grapes. Fun and festive!

Pull-Apart Christmas Tree Pizza Bombs

Pizza is one of my favorite foods. My husband will tell you that. When I saw this recipe, I thought it was perfect. Savory little bites of cheese and pepperoni with a side of marinara sauce. Perfection. Plus they’re fun to pull apart and dip in the sauce.

Andouille Sausage Bites

These bites are perfect for any party. An adult twist on a traditional kid’s appetizer – pigs in a blanket. Who doesn’t love sausage wrapped up in puff pastry? I love it! And the dipping sauce – yum!

Buffalo Chicken Dip Roll-Ups

I love buffalo chicken dip! This is usually served during football parties, particularly Super Bowl, BUT this fun twist can be served up all year round! And a quick tip – use a rotisserie chicken to shred up. These roll-ups are full of flavor. You get a little bit of heat from the buffalo sauce with just the right amount of creaminess from the cream cheese and blue cheese. Delish!

Whether hosting a holiday cocktail party or putting out a few appetizers for your small family gathering this Christmas, make it festive. Make it special.
